Instruments to measure procrastination and impulsiveness
Here you can find translations of two scales used for measuring procrastionation, the Irrational Procrastination Scale and the Pure Procrastination Scale, and one measuring impulsiveness, the Susceptibility to Temptation Scale. The scales were developed by Steel (2010), and are free to use for research and clinical purposes. The translations presented here were used in a European validation study with students and working individuals (N = 2893) from six different countries:
Svartdal, F., Pfuhl, G., Nordby, K., Foschi, G., Klingsieck, K., Rozental, A., Carlbring, P., Lindblom-Ylanne, S., & Rebkowska, K. (2016). On the measurement of procrastination: Comparing two scales in six European countries. Frontiers in Psychology.
